bang! short film festivalbang! short Film Festival returns on October 20th/21st so you've got all that wonderful summer light to make some films and bring some sunshine to our screens. bang! showcases the freshest new filmmakers twice a year at the Broadway Cinema in highlighting the best of what's out there : animation, drama, documentary, comedy, anything goes, this is two days of the edgiest shorts from the city, the region and beyond. Star SpottingMany of the short films screened by us at bang! have been made by directors and writers who have gone on to feature film success - - "Dead Man's Shoes", Chris Cooke "One for the Road" and Simon Ellis - who has a major new film in development as we speak.
